| Potential AOS nightmare..... | 27 Jul 2003 15:40 GMT | 1 |
I recently arrived in the US on a K-3 (two and a half months ago to be exact). I havent yet applied for AOS, as I was taking some time off from the crazy world of BCIS, to spend some quality time with my lovely wife (I'm crazy about this woman, really)

| Just a small piece of information | 27 Jul 2003 13:25 GMT | 1 |
Just a small piece of information but I thought it may be useful to people in knowing what to expect. My daughter's I-130 was approved and the file was forwarded to NVC. However as she was present in the US we wrote to them and notified them

| DCF- after entry, what then? | 27 Jul 2003 09:09 GMT | 1 |
I am a little unclear on what happens after one enters the US after filing DCF. Cathy has her interview in Madrid this Wednesday, and we assume (barring unforseen circumstances) that she will get the visa. When does she get the green card? Is there any paperwork that

| The 601 waiver deal | 26 Jul 2003 22:50 GMT | 5 |
I was under the impression that if a waiver is needed for a short over- stay, you file it at the interview stage of the I-129 proceedings. I've been searching this site all day thinking I read somewhere that you actually file it earlier. Couldnt find the specific post so am

| K3 AOS at Charlotte | 26 Jul 2003 21:39 GMT | 5 |
Been here over a week now and starting to think about AOS...... Does anyone have any details for Charlotte? Can I just file the basic paperwork or will I have to include a new I-130?? Do they allow K3ers to adjust???

| Is there something magic about 2 years? | 26 Jul 2003 21:10 GMT | 3 |
While it'll be a bit before my hubby is here, of course I'm thinking ahead to after he is and have a question. He'll be entering on a K3 visa by the end of this year. Most likely, our I-130 won't be approved out of the NSC until sometime early next year -

| 1st NOA question | 26 Jul 2003 20:28 GMT | 2 |
I just received my first NOA for the I-129f I submitted (k3). The processing estimate given in the notice said 60 to 120 days. I know I shouldn't pay much attention to these dates, but is this what everyone else has been getting? Or is this a sign that things are going to get

| Disappointed and disillusioned | 26 Jul 2003 19:50 GMT | 17 |
I am just 3 weeks away from my embassy interview and am awaiting my agency to place me in a nursing job before it happens. They have had 8 weeks to do so and knew my requirements: I want to be in Connecticut so I can be with my partner of nearly 3 years...we have waited a long time
