I am new to this forum and would have a few questions...
I am a French citizen and I am living currently in Canada with a
resident permanent visa. My girlfriend (she is a US citizen) and I
decided to get married and to move to the US...

Hopefully you and your fiancee are in the financial position where you
are financially comfortable with not working for a minimum of 120 days.
If not, unless you are very lucky to live in a BCIS jurisdiction that

Just got off the phone with the editor of the Lincoln Journal Star, it is a
prank - His office is five blocks from NSC; he looked on AP wire nothing.

I have a few questions. My husband and I filed the I-130 in April of
2002. Then we filed the I-129F for the k-3. Anyway we then got a
lawyer. My husband had his interview date Friday. He found out that
his I-130 was approved but he need the I-864 affidavit. The lawyer had

I am currently filling out form I-485 for my alien fiancee (now wife)
for adjustment of status after marriage. The instructions for the form
are a little confusing with regard to the medical examination and I

Does anyone have a sample of the intent to marry letter that is
needed? I thought of just writing, we intend to get married as soon as
my fiancee is approved. Is that enough or do I need something more
formal.
