We just discovered that a police certificate is required for EVERY country. My Fiancée lived in Australia from 1973 until 1977. She also lived in Mexico and Gabon. She is in Mexico now and getting a certificate even though the INS says it isn't available. I found one

My husband and I just got married last week and we now need to file our Adjustment of Status (and all those other papers). I think I remember reading somewhere that it is a good idea to take it to the BCIS in person to speed up the process. Anyone know if you can actually do that

I was told by someone at the INS call center that when Simon's approved to come & stay, then he can apply for an EAD & SS#. But on the EAD application, it asks for SS#. Are you supposed to get a SS# *before* you apply for your EAD?
