It's good to be back. I have rather a complicated question and would
appreciate any input I might get from you all.
I received my green card at Charlotte office on 9/17/02. Since at the
time of our interview, Allan and I had been married for more than two

At long last I received an email today from the embassy regarding my
inquiries about my wife's Packet 3. Here is what they said:

Well for anyone travelling to Boston it was easy!!!  For me anyway!

came in on a K1, fiancee visa and after landing 30 minutes early we had

Well, we filed the I-751 in January 2003.  We were sent a letter shortly
after filing extending Dan's conditional green card one year.......then THAT
letter expired in Jan 2004.   We went into Boston with the expired letter
and greencard and they gave him another I-551 stamp in his ...

We filed AOS June 2003, it took 7 months to get an I-72, with a demand
to surrender my husband's ORIGINAL I-94 and Advance Parole documents
to complete the processing of his I-485.  The notice stated that we
could not send via certified mail or anything requiring return

If you are going to give information about a requirement that is US
Consulate specific, at least give the correct quotation.  The one you
quoted was for the diversity immigration visa (which I believe is the
Visa Lottery).  The one you "meant" to quote is:

My wife with AOS pending went to Brooklyn SS card center NY, next day
after receiving the EAD card in the mail,  to get her name changed on
the Social security card due to marriage. They scanned EAD card, and
handled to her a form, which states that they cannot issue her a card,

hi there i was just wondering what an RFE is? My husband who is living
in the states and i (who am waiting in australia)have just sent in our
I-129F are wandering if they may want a copy of his DD214? Its a
document that basically states that he got out of the navy honourably.
