My husband has an appointment at the Los Angeles office at 9am for his
work permit. We have only been there once (we thought we can file for
his change of status in person..wrong), we went early in the morning at
5:00am. There was a long line and seemed to be very disorganized.

I am from TO, Canada, engaged to marry an American Aug 2004.  When we
apply for the K3, do I have to go back to Canada.  When can I bring my
"stuff" to the US.  Can my boys start school right away.  Please

I feel very confused these days with INS/NVC processing.
I arrived US with K-3 visa, my I-130 petition approved Mar 17, 2004 and
NVC sent us affidavit of support fee bill $65.00, Immigration fee bill

I am on K3 in US for over a year and March 30/2004 my I130 was approved.
July 200-3 applied for AOS and two weeks ago did fingerprints.Recently
received letter from Department of State National visa with request for
affidavit of support and other forms and $65 fees. Called INVC in

As a K3 visa entrant
- if you have not applied for Adjustment of
Status your application for EAD should be sent to the National Benefits
