A K1 is eligible to adjust status only on the basis of marriage
to the US citizen who petitioned for them.  If they married a different
US citizen instead, then they are not eligible to adjust status within

The USCIS ASC is the Application Support Center for fingerprinting
services.  Are you saying you sent your petitions to them and actually
went to them for an interim EAD instead of to the local district office
of USCIS?  Just trying to understand if this is a new procedure.

I've submitted my fingerprint-based police check to the RCMP and as it
says it will take over 150 days to process, I've asked the US embassy
here if they would accept a name-based police check from Canada.
They've indicated that they will.  But I can't seem to get ahold of
