Entering the US with GreenCard26 Oct 2004 20:13 GMT5
Just off back home (UK) for a quick trip. I now have my full 10 year
greencard (obtained via a K1 Visa) When coming in to the US (through
JFK) do I need to fill in any forms? Just the customs one? And can I use
the "quick" (US rather than foreign) line at immigration?
I-130 approval?26 Oct 2004 19:44 GMT2
I am a US citizen. We submitted my wifes application I-485
and the I-130 together in November 2002 in NYC.
Is it customary to get a notice of approval for the I-130
prior to any notice regarding the I-485?

AOS Interview Letter26 Oct 2004 15:10 GMT1
My I-485 & I-130 are at MSC at the moment....
Do you get a NOA when they are sent back to the District Office? Does
the online status change? Where does the interview letter come from? MSC
or District Office?
Got my CR-1 visa !26 Oct 2004 15:05 GMT6
The last part was fast and easy, I did the medical the day before the
interview, and it was not too bad...I didn´t need any vaccines as I
brought my vaccines records. Just blood test,x-ray, exam and questions.
The interview lasted less than 5 minutes. They were really nice, as
SSN and EAD26 Oct 2004 15:02 GMT3
My wife has received a temporary (8 month) EAD and has had her SSN since
February.  The SS card says something like not valid with out
authorization.  I know that means the EAD, but my question is do we need
to get a new SS card that does not have the "not valid" written across

Roll Call: Marriage Class of 200326 Oct 2004 12:07 GMT15
Just wanted to stop by and say hi to everyone from a former fiance
entering via a K-1 visa, and see what all the people that were going
through processing at that time were up to now.
We just passed our 1 year wedding anniversary and have no idea where the

WHY PR cards are so pale?26 Oct 2004 06:31 GMT2
I just got my permanent resident card on mail, and i can barely see my
face there... It is exactly the same photo from my EAD, but it is so
much "faded", it is only mine or anyone had the same thing?
Is it OK or do I have to call?
Federal Plaza--INFOPass26 Oct 2004 04:49 GMT4
The New York City CIS page says if you go to Federal Plaza, you cannot
be seen unless you have an INFOPASS appointment.  The INFOPASS site
says there are no appointments available for the NY office at this
time.
about to fill out the I-129F...26 Oct 2004 01:19 GMT4
and I have one simple question. I downloaded the form from the USCIS
website, and since it's a .pdf file, thought I would be able to type in
the fields. Apparantly, that's not the case. I'm sure it is, but just to
be safe, is it okay to print in those fields with ink instead, or is
Timing CP at London Embassy25 Oct 2004 22:42 GMT4
I'm in the US on a K-3 and our I-130 was approved last month. This weekend I
received the pack containing the bill for the Affidavit of Support and a
copy of the DS-2032 from the NVC. We intend to do Consular Processing in
London, and would like to get a ten year green card.
EAD Pickup notification question25 Oct 2004 20:37 GMT9
decided to ask this question in the main forum. I got notice yesterday
of my appointment  "EAD/Advance Parole Pick-up Notice"  , my question is
that this is with the SF district office and
1. Does this mean I am approved and that they are going to issue my EAD?
