Confused as to why my N-400 interview was cancelled??30 Apr 2006 22:16 GMT7
Has anyone here had any experience with USCIS cancelling your interview
a week before you were supposed to appear for the appt? Also, how long
after they cancelled your appt did you receive a new one? I am just
really confused as to why mine was cancelled. My biometrics was complete
Yay!! Got NOA from TSC for I-751!30 Apr 2006 22:07 GMT3
Woo hoo!! Got my Notice of Action for filing my removal of conditions
form on Friday. It took two weeks for me to get it, which seems about
the norm for TSC. It's dated the day they received my application, so
that was cool, and it also states that my GC is extended for 12 months.
Children's income30 Apr 2006 21:56 GMT11
My income would be enough to sponsor my wife, if we didn't have
children.  But we have children, and my income alone is not enough.
But the children have their own income, which is more than enough to
support them, and puts our total household income well above the 125%

just a note to say thank you to everyone for the advice over recent
months.
My wife and I arrived in the United States a couple of days ago. We are
now staying with my wifes parents.
N-400 and 90-day rule30 Apr 2006 04:49 GMT4
I find the instructions on the N-400 regarding when you can file to be
very confusing. I am filing based on a marriage to a US citizen and I
have now been a permanent resident for a little more than 3 years-90
days, but less than 3 years (and meet all the other requirements). From

Some of you may remember me from a few years ago, Kathy and I gleaned
mountains of advice on marital  immigration from this forum and would never
have got through the process without regularly reading the postings in here.
I'm Alfie and I married Kathy on 03/03/03. I became a ...

K1 visa interview May 2nd in London29 Apr 2006 00:29 GMT10
And goodness, I'm terrified.
I've already been for the medical and it wasn't as bad as I'd feared
(and had nightmares about!) but now my interview is getting near and I'm
getting nervous!
EAD touched...but status not changed.28 Apr 2006 21:59 GMT3
It's been a while since I have been on this board.  I'm grateful to have
somewhere to turn with my immigration questions.
Here's the situation:
We filed an EAD on Feb. 6.  Old EAD expired last Friday April 21.  My
CSC and I-751,s28 Apr 2006 21:19 GMT12
Well,
I decided to email CSC last night using the address that June posted,
guess what....it is still 'pending' but they did give me the same
advice as Rete about the Infopass.
K-1 "Administrative Review" at the NVC?28 Apr 2006 21:06 GMT2
Our K-1 visa application was approved at the USCIS on March 21st (about
5 weeks ago), and has been at the NVC ever since.  When I call and talk
to the operators there, they tell me that the case is still in
"administrative review" and is still going through the normal "post
Separate I-130 petitions for wife and stepchild?28 Apr 2006 18:48 GMT2
I have been researching this question for a while now, including
reading a lot of postings in this group, and I just don't get it.
Maybe the great minds of this group would be willing to explain this to
me?
Karen D's Update! (I-751 and...)28 Apr 2006 18:20 GMT7
It's been a long while since I posted anything new here about my
immigration story, and life in the USA in general.  Following a
successful AOS interview in Jun '04 in Providence, RI, my green card
arrived in the mail in Aug '04.  As hubby and I were married less than 2

Greetings all. I recently posted about the USCIS asking me and my wife
to send in a new copy of our marriage certificate. I recieved
notification yesterday by email that they had recieved it.
Back to waiting I guess.
