I am a Canadian citizen living in the US as a PR. Since I live on a border town, am I legally allowed to live in the US and work in Canada? Other than the obvious annoyance of having to cross the border twice a day, I wasn't sure if this somehow violated my PR status in the US.

After seeing several I-751-related posts recently, I decided to go to Kamya.com and submit our I-751 experience-to-date. After doing so, I looked up our AOS experience submission and was dismayed to see that ours was the most recent one for the Norfolk, VA office -- from 2004!

I got the email says: "a welcome notice was mailed for this case..." after the sucessful AOS interview. What is a welcome notice? Is this mean my I-485 got approved and I am going to receive the GC?
