I had my interview in March 2003, my case was not approved due to FBI name check pending. It has been more than 3 years and it is still pending. Does anyone have the similar experience and could tell me possible ways to resolve my case?

I mailed the I-751 to TSC a week ago. I was expecting to receive a NOA with a one year extension of my GC in the mail, instead I just received a Fingerprint Notification asking me to show up at USCIS Houston on 7/18.

Today I complete three years (sans 90 days) since I was granted permanent residency. 10/15/03 was the day. Although my arithmetic states I can mail in my N-400 today, I will wait until Wednesday. This is a precaution on my part to avoid the remote possibility of a USCIS
