We filed our I-751 through Vermont in January 2006, then received an
RFE requesting further evidence early in July 2006.  We immediately
sent back additional evidence.  Today we received a notice that our
file has been submitted to the District Office for an interview.  I'm
AOS Interview last month, still no news of approval of GC22 Aug 2006 22:09 GMT3
I had my AOS interview with my husband on July 26, 2006 in Milwaukee and
I have not received a letter of approval/GC. The interviewer told us
that she would make the decision at the end of the day when we went in
last month. She also said it would take 4-6 weeks. I've heard of ...

before i got married, while i was f-1, I worked without uscis
authorization.  I had a real ss card, only it was
inscribed with"not valid for work without ins auth".  i gave the
employer my ssn, went through the w-2 process and even got taxes

Do you know what this means? How long will it take before the approval?
Any sharing of experience is appreciated.
My last update date changed from August 2nd (the finger print date) to
August 21st. But there is no change to the message. It is still the
YAY! I finally got a date for the interview22 Aug 2006 01:45 GMT1
After calling them since I mailed the check list to the U.S Consulate
in Montreal in early June.  I finally got the interview date booked for
me on Oct 30.  They told me that they will issue the visa the next day
after the interview at 2pm, so I guess I will have to stay over night.

The 1/2 sheet of paper that my wife received with her Green Card
contains the following gem:
   You must file Form I-751, Petition to Remove the Conditions on

I am about to get married to a US citizen in a months time and have
already got the marriage licence. I arrived from Australia on a
non-immigrant E3 visa. I am wondering if I need to see a lawyer to apply
for a change of status? Is this a simple process?

I just realized (I was nervous and exided on the interveiw) that she
took this small peace of paper attached to my passport (with DS stamp
or something like that?) and she never returned back. I think it was
I90 small paper but I am not sure.

Is the concensus still in favour of the Fiancee Visa process vs the
Marriage Visa process in terms of speed (relatively speaking!)?
Is the difference significant, or a gamble?

Which forms should I fill if I would like my mother to come to visit me
and my wife in the USA? Some kind of tourist visa? She will not be

I applied I-485 with I-130. My wife is USC. and i on H1-B. how long
normally does it take to get a letter for finger printing done and after
that what normally happes ...do they call you for interview ?

We are going through a rough time in marriage and currently my wife
checks the post box , so is there a way I can find out if there was a
letter from INS online or through phone ?

Here is what happened, I know it shouldn't have been, but did happen
nevertheless. Please help me out finding a solution, and if you have
any idea please let me know what can be the effect of this mistake.
