I am planning to move my belongings with a moving company finally.
However, I will carry my valuable belongings with me on the plane.  I
called the U.S. custom in Montreal and apparently the one I was tlaking
to to did not know about it and he told me I could not move my
AOS (I-485) Denied....Is work authorisation (I-765) still active?12 Sep 2006 17:44 GMT12
I am a UK citizen married to a US citizen. I have previously filed for
AOS (I-485) but had my application denied for failing to supply the
evidence they requested. The petition (I-130) was approved however.
When filing my I-485 I also applied for work authorisation (I-765), but

I have been reading this formum for months by now and I must say it has
been a tremendeous help!
*I filed my I-751 with VSC in July 2006.
*Received NOA a couple of weeks later.

An acquaintance of mine, has tried to get married to a USC but was
denied due to expired passport in NYC.  His consulate, wouldn't extend
a new passport, unless he flies back to his country, or has a green
card.  Is there any way, it would be possible for him to get married.

Ok, I went in to the Detroit INS office this morning to get a new green
card, as my 2 year conditional green card had expired.  In the meantime
while I wait for the new 10-year card to arrive they have stamped my
passport with the I-551 stamp as proof of my status.  My question is,

Greetings! My 2 yr conditional GC expired in Aug. I am currently

I posted a week or two back about getting the I-751 approval the day
before we moved from MD to VA.
I went into the office in VA today (prosperity avenue) and it was quiet
- there was < 10 people in the waiting room.
