I-751 Question05 Oct 2006 23:05 GMT3
I will have to apply to remove my conditional status in February 2007.
It looks like it can take up to 6 months for the new issued GC (Green
Card) to arrive.  This would indicate that my current GC will be expired
for 3 months before I get the new one.  Does this then mean that I ...
interview questions05 Oct 2006 21:20 GMT1
I have my interview coming up and I want to ask a few questions. I am not really nervous. My husband and I have been married for about 8 months now and he had to start professional school in another state. We have only been living apart since the end of August but since then I ...
They'll write to me either way05 Oct 2006 21:00 GMT1
Well, we had the interview - in and out of the building within an hour.
They took the co-sponsor off the petition as my husband makes enough to
sponsor me himself.
They asked me a bunch of questions about when and why I left the US for
Processing Dates05 Oct 2006 20:46 GMT4
I know that the processing dates aren't exactly accurate as to how long
it will take before my application is processed, but when I go look at
the site for the dates, only California and Vermont have dates for the
I-129F.  I'm sending my application to Texas.  Does this mean they
I-751 good faith waiver approved05 Oct 2006 19:55 GMT10
this morning in Philly. The immigration officer was very nice. He was
just asking basic questions based on my documentation.
Quick and easy.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Citizenship05 Oct 2006 18:52 GMT2
..I swear I've looked this up and can't seem to find it online! Not
even the Dual Citizenship FAQ link in the sticky. It should be a very
straight forward issue, I would imagine, but no.....
My husband is in the US on a Green Card/ CR-1 visa. With the 2 year
More Questions05 Oct 2006 17:51 GMT2
First I'd like to thank those who gave me advice on how to deal with a
late fingerprinting notice. I had no problem walking in and got it done
within 15 mins.
Then I have more questions. My interview is scheduled 3 days before I
FYI: Tax Documents05 Oct 2006 16:24 GMT5
For people who are in need of their tax documents, the IRS will fax the
transcripts.  I requested transcripts for my last three years tax return
along with my individual W-2.  The young lady faxed the documents over
within 15 minutes and as a safety, I requested a mailed copy, which
N-400 and working overseas05 Oct 2006 14:42 GMT5
My N-400 is in processing. I have had my finger prints done last month.
I may get a very good job offer in Dubai with a 2-3 months time to
join. Ideally, I hope to have my citizenship interview get done within
in the next 2 months. If not how could it impact my case? What can I do
Now here's an interesting question....05 Oct 2006 14:27 GMT2
What if I lost my job(company goes under)after I have sent in the
papers and before we got the interview?  I have a joint sponsor just in
case, and he is my potential new boss.  But if I lost my job there
would be a month or month and a half window of unemployment.  Am I
I-485 form question05 Oct 2006 13:22 GMT1
Simple question. Part 1. Second line.
It reads "Address - C/O".
Should I re-type my name there, or just leave it blank? I live at my own
house, none of the "care of" stuff applies to me.
immigration process for foreign working spouse05 Oct 2006 09:28 GMT3
I know this is really similar to another recent post, but I just wanted
to have one all to myself.
I'm an American citizen and I've been living in France for the last 5+
years. I've been married to a French man for 3+ years. My husband
Proof of home ownership05 Oct 2006 07:23 GMT2
for the I-864 I need to show proof of ownership. There are no mortgages
or liens on the house.
Is a copy of the warranty deed plus copy of my property taxes enough to
show I own the house? If not, what other documentation do you suggest?
When do we get the case #?05 Oct 2006 06:18 GMT3
I noticed that the first NOAs received for I-130 and I-485 don't the
have case # written. When will I know what is my case #? (I understand I
need the case # to follow the case thru internet).
Thanks a lot in advance,
Green card process Marraige / Employment05 Oct 2006 04:04 GMT1
I guess the question that I am asking may have been answered before or might
be lame but its on behalf of my friend. Anyways, he is currently on a second
H1B petition, the first one was for 2.5 years then transferred from Company
A to B. Currently petition is still pending so he is ...
