My I-485 got approved last week. The day after my interview I got an email update that it was approved. Two days after that I got a letter in the mail saying "Welcome to the United States etc. etc". It also said that I should receive my card in the mail in 2-3 weeks.

I went to the interview in b-more today but they did not stamp my passport, they said i had to wait for a decion in the mail, does this mean i have been denied. aint they supposed to stamp your passport on the spot if you are approved
