I am a US citizen living in New York but he is living and is a citizen of the UK...does anybody know if our marriage will stiill be considered legal in the UK if we get married in the US? i plan on moving there after we get married...would be easier for family and friends to do it

Can anyone help? My friend came in on a tourist visa then ended up getting married to her boyfriend (US citizen). They actually planned to go back to the UK to get married but he got a job offer he couldn't refuse. So it was not actually planned.

The K1 visa was used properly. Marriage was within 90 days. Then the K1 visa expired, with no adjustment of status. Can the expired K1 visa still be used for adjustment of status? Or is it necessary to use form I-130 to apply for a new visa to replace the expired

At what point does the 3yr time start? My wife got her 2yr card on Nov 4 2004. We filed the I-751 in Aug 2006 and are waiting on that but I am confused as to when we can file the N-400 paperwork.

I have been wondering about this one for a while and I know you all know the answer. When my attorney filed my original AOS paperwork in 2004 he did not forward me a receipt for my I485 and I never got one from USCIS. Because of that I never had a receipt number for it.

To maintain leagal PRS one of the conditions is - The continued filing of U.S. tax returns with the IRS in a resident status. But i have problem with it. I've applied for AOS in September, it's still Pending. I didn't apply for EAD, so i don't work.
