Hi all.  We had an interesting experience getting my wife's green card and I
thought I'd share.  We got the letter saying that the green card was coming
in the next thirty days last year.  So, we waited, and waited, and waited.
Finally, we decided it had been lost in the mail.  ...

My boyfriend and I are interested in marrying.  He cannot quit his job
until August and come over here then.  Say it's February now.  I am

i am based in Chicago, and we filed I-751 for my wife on June 14 2006.
We receieved the NOA on June 29, and received another letter on July 11
from the Lincoln Nebraska Center stating the following:
"Dear Sir or Madam,

about DUI. Long story short …. DUI charges are dismissed and
convicted for refusal to submit breath test. I understand that if DUI is

I am having my wife get her Florida license..which she can do with her
I-94...but they will make it valid only until the expiry date on her I-
94.  Here is the question....with the package for AOS submitted, will
there be any receipt or document sent to her indicating her stay ...
