I posted this on another forum and got a reply. I thought I would post
this here as well, and see if I get any different/similar responses.
I will be filing for a change of last name soon. I will also be filing
the I-751. I called up USCIS to find out the whether the I-90 is needed
What process takes the longest?08 Jan 2007 00:12 GMT9
I just received a letter in the mail saying that our petition for the
I129F has been approved.  It'll be sent to the NVC and then on to the
Embassy.  Any idea, even a rough estimate about these?  I know it says
it takes about a month for it to be processed through the NVC.  How

Hi again, I was trying to research some things, and can't seem to find
some processing times - they don't seem to be where I found them before.

I-129F (which I believe to be the first step).  If I found the right
Question about special registration07 Jan 2007 21:37 GMT2
My wifes parents and siblings immigrated recently to the US on immigrant
visas. They've received their greencards as well. They need to file a
change of address form and was wondering whether they need to file AR-11
or AR-S11 (special registration).

I-751 "old" fee07 Jan 2007 20:07 GMT5
Kind of a stupid question, but what was the fee for the I-751 form just
BEFORE they raised it? I need to get a copy of the cheque I wrote back
in Sept from my bank and it'd be helpful for them finding it if I knew
the amount... but I don't remember :(
Personel check07 Jan 2007 19:01 GMT5
I shall mail my N-400 application for naturalization to Texas Service
Center . I am not sure if they accept personel checks or the checks must
be certified from the bank
Can you please tell me if I can send personel check or certified one ?
finally filed N40007 Jan 2007 13:30 GMT2
I finally mailed my N400. I have been eligible for some time, but having a
spare $400 was another story. It went out in the mail today, and so now the
wait starts one more time. It will be a relief to have it all over with. We
started the whole process for the fiancé visa back in ...

Dumb question I guess..but I'm paranoid after the lawyer experience.
Is the Biographical information specific only to me..and a copy  each
