HELP.  Need answer to important question05 Jan 2007 20:09 GMT20
In view of the fact that I have had to terminate my relationship with
the incompetent lawyer who screwed up every document..I am now preparing
the forms myself.
I do not know for sure if he gave proper advice on this critical issue,
Out of status?05 Jan 2007 20:06 GMT6
I have my AOS interview for GC on Feb 8 (via marriage to USC). My H1B
expires Jan 16. My EAD is still pending and looks like it will be
cutting it close to be approved by Jan 16.
If the EAD is not approved by Jan 16 (and for arguments sake by the AOS
somewhat OT--visitor visa for in-laws05 Jan 2007 19:23 GMT11
Hi, this is slightly off-topic but I am unsure whether there is a forum
that deals with this issue.
The old-timers may remember me as I went through the process of getting
my husband a green card--which took 3 years after his arrival on a
Student Visa to Permanent Residence05 Jan 2007 17:05 GMT2
I am an American citizen and my boyfriend is a Brit- he is currently in
college in the US on a student visa.
If we get married as soon as we graduate from college, how to do we go
about making him a permanent resident? The wedding would be in the US
Point of View for Evidence in I129F Petition05 Jan 2007 07:51 GMT3

My better half and I are putting together the I129F petition now I've
come back from the States and had finally plucked up the courage to

K1 and reception05 Jan 2007 07:22 GMT1
I am USC and my fiancee is from Asia.  I plan to travel to her city when her
K1 visa approve then have the reception for engagement and wedding together.
As you know, in Asia, we can't just leave without doing the ceremony for the
girl family.  The reception is NOT legal binding ...
Quick question about change of address during CR1 Removal of Conditions05 Jan 2007 01:08 GMT6
Well I'm a month into my 90 day window and have been holding out sending
my I-751 while a few loose ends get tied up. Unfortunately I am also in
the midst of a relocation! Does anyone know the best way to approach
this? Will there be sufficient time for me to send in the AR-11 ...
Bypassing I-90: Name change and filing of I-75105 Jan 2007 00:56 GMT1
I posted this on another forum and got a reply. I thought I would post
this here as well to see if I get different/similar responses.
I will be filing for a change of last name soon. I will also be filing
the I-751. I called up USCIS to find out the whether the I-90 is needed
Travel to USA after K1 issued, but not on K1 visa04 Jan 2007 23:14 GMT6
Hey guys,
Happy Holidays.
I've been wondering, with the 6 month period to go to the states from
the date of issue of the K1, is it still possible to go to USA on the
How long after I-130 approved can you pursue your case?04 Jan 2007 22:44 GMT2
I was introduced via email to a friend-of-a-friend who was asking for
immigration application help back in Feb 06. I gave her solid info and
she didn't take heed to any of it. NOW today mentioned that their I-130
was approved back in 2005!
Change of address while something pending?04 Jan 2007 15:40 GMT3
Has anyone done a change of address while something is pending with
immigration?  We're doing removal of conditions now and Mahir just
called the mis-information line, which actually was helpful today, to
find out that they sent our receipt to 236 Pond Street instead of 326
USCIS website04 Jan 2007 06:57 GMT1
Is it just me or has their website been down for months now? I am still not
able to access anything at www.uscis.gov, let along click any of the links
if I try and use a backdoor link or the likes from Google.
Am I just going to the wrong site?

*AOS interview question04 Jan 2007 04:58 GMT3
Is working illegally relevant in an AOS interview?  Do they ask?  Is it
forgiven if getting married to an USC?
Thanks
Not So Happy/Merry Season04 Jan 2007 01:22 GMT3
I hope that your season is truly happy and that no one else is having to
grieve the loss of a loved one this time of year.
My mom was killed in a car accident recently. Although I have other adult
siblings, none of them is settled enough to care for my youngest brother who
