My USC husband is currently petitioning my 17 year old son who is in
the Philippines.  We've filled out every form they've sent us and sent
in the required fees.  We just received a notice last Thursday saying
that they are still waiting for DS-230.

I'm in the process of applying a few applications. I applied for I-485
Adjustment of status and recently went for my biometrics appointment.
Shortly, I came here on a b1/b2 and got married a few months ago. I am
now on my pending I-485. I am applying right now for I-131 travel

Hi - My husband and I had our first I-751 interview in November.  We
received a letter today saying that they want us to come again and bring
his passport.  We are happily married and took a lot of documentation
with us to the other interview.  They did not ask any out-of-the-way

I'm about to send in all of my forms (I am a Canadian, was in on a temp visa,
married an American). I just wanted to double check with all of you
knowledgeable people to make sure I've got everything!

Slightly off topic.
When one becomes a US citizen through naturalization, only the (single)
naturalization certificate or your US passport can prove your citizenship.

Heres what happened. (Im awaiting for interview for my I-485 btw)
My husband and I went to our district office today with an infopass appt
to speak to an immigration officer as we want to ask some questions
about change of name ended up being a priceless trip.

When I submitted the I-130 in December 2001 to obtain immigration
proceedings for my wife, I listed her daughter on the second page.  The
girl was 17 at the time her mother and I married in 2001.  They

I submitted I-751 last December and got the extension letter at the end
of December and took my fingerprint on Jan 3, 2007.  Right now I am just
waiting for the approval.  My green card will expire on Feb 27, 2007 and
I am planning to take an international trip sometimes next week ...
