I am a US Citizen and my boyfriend is from England.  We have been dating
for 3 1/2 years and he is currently studying in the US on an F-1 visa,
with his program ending this December.
We are planning on getting married and do not know what the best/easiest

We finally received notification of our interview date - 20th February -
and I am finalizing all the documents for my husband.  Last September, I
went to the IRS at the Embassy in London to file my tax returns for
2003/2004/2005 as I hadn't been aware that I should have been filing ...

We are applying for my husband's (UK Citizen) visa to live in the US and
as I don't work in the US yet, my Dad has agreed to complete the I-864
as a joint sponsor.  We are just checking the forms while we are home

just checking back in to update everyone. I filed my I-751 in late
November 2006, I did my fingerprints and new picture on Jan 2nd 2007 and
yesterday Saturday 17th I got my new card in the mail. APPROVED :)
So about 2 and a half months from filing to approval. :)
