Here's something you don't hear everyday:  USCIS dealt with a problem
quickly and efficiently.
So after removing conditions, we *finally* got my Canadian bride's
10-year green card a few weeks ago, and discovered that she's

Thanks for any advice on the relationship between N-400 and name change.
I have always waited for N-400 to change my name legally. However, I am not
sure how it works to be exact. When I take oath at the ceremony, is it an
automatic change to my name or I have to go to a court? ...

Please, I really need some advice.
I obtained my 2 yr marriage based green card 2/05 and have applied to
remove the conditions. I am in the process of another batch of paperwork
as well as a divorce. My problem is that my wife and I have no or

September 18, 2006 - Mailed the N-400 package including all the
documents and fee
October 13, 2006 - Finger Print
February 14, 2007 - Interview (passed)

I recently married an American and am waiting for my paperwork (AOS,
Green Card, ...) to come through.
I am currently employed with an American institution, my J1 will run out
soon and my preliminary work authorization might take another few weeks.

We Started the Process for my Husband the other day and sent off the
I-130 Form , He is Canadian ,i'm A US Citizen and have been married 5
years now. Just yesterday we recived the I-179 notice . So far so
good . But i Noticed that it says that when time comes your his

We have questions on the Evidence of Support.  I (USC) and hubby (UKC)
are filing for him to immigrate to the US.  We've done the I-130,
approved; returned all paperwork to London as requested and have gotten
our interview date set for mid-May.

This morning in the Sandra Day O'Connor federal courthouse, Phoenix,
Arizona along with 102 other immigrants I became a US citizen.
