Conditional Green Card in Production30 Jun 2007 22:31 GMT3
I just got the email that CIS is making my card!  So, I guess I
should have it in the next 30 days.  Filed AOS package in mid
February and I should have my card sometime in July.  Almost 6 months
total, not too shabby :)
Got my citizenship interview date!!!30 Jun 2007 19:04 GMT13
I dont have a timeline here, but things have been pretty smooth here in
MD. I got married in Sept 2003, applied for my GC in Nov, got it in
March 2004. I applied for citizenship this past Jan 2007, had my
fingerprints taken in Feb and I did the civics test at the same time
Dilema: Apply for AP or wait on LPR30 Jun 2007 14:53 GMT3
Just filed the AOS I-485 to Chicago.  Problem is from what I've been
reading here on the forum, it would seem that it is going to take some
time to obtain the lawful permanent residence card and I need to travel
to Ireland in November.
What to do?30 Jun 2007 14:15 GMT8
I met a man from the UK 4 years ago online.  We knew each other a year
when he came for a visit (we had both been back and forth to see each
other a few times prior) for 90 days.
While he was here we decided that once his divorce was final we would
US Citizen marrying a J-1 Visa holder. Sorry if this is done to death30 Jun 2007 07:43 GMT6
My boyfriend came here in September 06 on a J-1 without the two year
requirement. We would like to get married this summer and keep him
working. I can't find an estimate of how long it would take for him to
be able to work without the J-1. He's working in another state currently

Finally heard from DDO yesterday about an interview - scheduled for
7/26.  The letter stated to bring the following; I have listed what I am
Interview30 Jun 2007 00:14 GMT7
I submitted my full medical including vaccinations etc for my K1 visa;
as well as Affidavit of support, including supporting documents. Does
that mean I don't need to do these again for my I-485 interview?

EAD while waiting for GC29 Jun 2007 22:21 GMT2
I applied for both I-485 and EAD based on that at the same time in
April. My interview is set for mid August. Will my EAD be sent to me at
90days (some time in July) irrelevant of my upcoming interview and
pending green card?
Please Help!  Travel while I-130 pending.29 Jun 2007 21:42 GMT4
I have seen many questions concerning Traveling to the U.S. while

I134 for K1 Visa29 Jun 2007 16:16 GMT2
Due to a little bad planning on both mine and the OH's side, we've
received our letter from the NVC saying the application was approved
before we were expecting it (although that is good news!).
However, the OH now needs to put together a pack of information to send
Can I visit repeatedly while waiting for K-1?29 Jun 2007 16:08 GMT8
I hope you can give me some advice. The basics are: I'm a British
citizen, intending to marry a US citizen. I'm in the US at the moment
but have to return soon before my I-94W runs out. We won't be able to
marry this trip because my divorce isn't through yet.
S 1639 frustration29 Jun 2007 15:34 GMT27
Maybe this isn't the right forum to post this, and maybe I'll get
bashed by it.  I'm a little frustrated with this new immigration bill.
My husband and I paid thousands of dollars to get him here in
immigration fees, visits between waiting, 2 consular interviews, more
Going back to UK and US Taxes29 Jun 2007 13:59 GMT4
If I move back to the UK on a permanent basis, do I still have to file
taxes for the time that I'm considered a permanent resident in the US,
even if I'm earning and paying taxes in the UK? I'm probably going to
apply for a re-entry permit before I go, so I could come back without a
