New USCIS fees effective July 30, NOT July 31!27 Jul 2007 13:10 GMT6
I've seen in a couple of threads people posting that the new USCIS fees
become effective on July 31, and this is NOT CORRECT.
The new (increased) USCIS fees apply if you file ON or AFTER Monday,
July 30, 2007.

N-400 and missing information27 Jul 2007 04:19 GMT1
A second question about the N-400 application.  If for some reason
something is missing from the items requested, will they reject the
application or send a request for more information?  Even when being
very thorough, something might be overlooked. It's down to the wire

I’m currently undergoing the I-130 petition via the US embassy in
London and as I’m rather concerned by the whole process I wanted

A long winded story but any help will calm me down...
Got married last December to my lovely wife who is a USC by birth. She
moved over to the UK and got a transfer via her company (mine too) and
we expected to be in the UK for 3 - 5 years. They dropped a bombshell
Green card application organizing documents26 Jul 2007 22:11 GMT11
Was wondering if the experts on this group would mind reviewing how I
have organized my green card application--don't want to miss anything,
and I am anxious!  I have double-checked & gone off a list I made from
form instructions but would greatly appreciate if this could be my
N-400 NOA and Biometrics notice26 Jul 2007 17:54 GMT10
I have a question.
How long does it take (on average) to receive the NOA and the Biometrics
notice after the check has cleared? I sent my application on July 2. It
was received on July 6 (per USPS). The check was cashed on July 18th.

Family Green Card vs. Work Sponsorship26 Jul 2007 05:21 GMT9
I am in the US on a H1-B visa sponsored by my employer (based in NJ),
and the employer filed for my I-765, I-140 and I-485 in Nov 06.
Also, I am married to a US citizen (from NC) and we are expecting our
first child any day now.  She had to move back from NJ to NC at the end
N-400 and postmark26 Jul 2007 02:06 GMT1
My husband is filling out his application and trying to get it out
before the fee change August 1st.  Do they go by the postmark as in
tax returns or must they have it in their hands by the 31st?  It's
going to Vermont.  Thanks
Green card filing fees25 Jul 2007 23:10 GMT9
I am sending in my green card application tomorrow (I am a Canadian

correct fees--they have changed to the July 30 increased fees on at
least one of the uscis form information pages. This is what I have

port of entry the officer stamped my passport with the date May 19 ...
