I have a few questions about the process for applying for a Fiancee visa

So my wife was granted an unconditional greencard a couple of years
ago based on the fact that we'd already been married a few years and
had lived together for over a year before she applied. Anyway, I've
read that under some circumstances she can apply for US citizenship

My wife had her AOS interview last October 2006.  They said everything
looked OK except for a name check that wasn't finished.  She got her EAD
but that's it.  No other paperwork - no stamp in the passport - nothing.
