My husband is waiting for his green card pending security clearances
after AOS. He has an EAD.
Would anyone know that if he wants to apply for a graduate program in a
school here in US, would he be categorized as local or international

K-1, Work, and Unexpired I-9418 Jul 2007 05:30 GMT7
I've pretty much got myself a job set up thanks to a friend of my OH,
working in a software house.
At the moment, it's understood that I probably won't have my 1
year EAD until Feb '08 at the soonest (moving over and getting

Hi I am a UK citizen and  I am engaged to my fiance who is a U.S citizen
currently working in the middle east. I just made an unsuccessful
application to take my 9 year old daughter (she'll be 10 next July) to
the STATES in February next year to live. I intend to reapply sometime
Expect Backlogs...18 Jul 2007 03:33 GMT1
My 2 cents. There will be an insane number of cases filed before the
fees go up July 30. Also, there will be an unprecedented number of employment-
based (EB) AOS cases filed this month because of the EB Visa Bulletin
fiasco of July 2007 as USCIS and DOS changed their mind again ...

Dates on N-400 application17 Jul 2007 13:32 GMT1
There is a place on the N-400 application form to list all the times you
have been out of the US, even for a day.  This presumably is make sure
that you have had the appropriate number of days of physical presence.
All I know from my UK passport is the date of actually returning to ...
New filing fees and I-751?17 Jul 2007 06:11 GMT7
Hi, I'm in the process of filing I-751 as my conditional status expires
on October 31st. 90 days prior to that would be July 31st. However the
new fees start on July 30th. Am I going to be fine if I send the
package on July  29? I am wondering if USCIS counts 90 days since they
California Driving License and SSN Exempt?17 Jul 2007 05:23 GMT88
well I am still waiting for my SSN and did a quick search here about

search here on the forum that a poster went to SS office and got a
