Last question before I send the envelope with all the forms, do I have to certify the envelope at the post office? I'm asking because sometimes government offices do not want you to certify documents that are been sent to them. I will appreciate your reply, thank you.

I've adjusted based on my marriage to a US citizen and got my conditional residence approved two years ago. I've just filed I-751 to remove the conditions on my residence a few weeks ago (already got my 1 year extension letter, bio appointment early september).

Due to circumstances I had to hold off mailing my I-751 until July 25th 2007 (2yr. permanent residency card expiring August 4th 2007). The package was received July 30th 2007 (the day of the fee change). We received the package back last week, plus a seperate letter.

So let's say my wife has a greencard and I'm a US citizen. If I accept employment overseas what can I do about ensuring my wife doesn't risk losing her greencard? How long can she be out and still not put her greencard at risk?
