work permit expired  and so did his k3-visa.  His intentions were to go
back to his native country because he had a tough time "adjusting".  I

If someone has received their permanent green card, but is divorced
about 8 months thereafter, I understand that this person will have to
wait for 5 years to apply for citizenship (because no longer married to
a US citizen).

My friend is adjusting status (marriage with USC).
He lost his I-94 and intends on filing the I-102 (form to replace I-94).
Question is: does he file the entire AOS packet along with the I-102?

I recently been approved to PR and my card is in production. I am
assuming I will get the 2-yrs one first and after that apply to remove

I just been told that i'm only allowed to travel to the US 3 month
a year on my tourist visa. Is that true?
So if i go there for 3 month minus the days i already been to the US,
i'm not allowed back before next year?

I have a conditional greencard (my wife is a US citizen) which expired
Jan 07. I did not realize that I had to renew it. Have any of you been

One of my friend's secretary was up for removal of conditions on her
green card when she and her husband decided upon divorce. The final
approval did not come until a couple of months after the green card
expiration. As soon as it did come, she filed an I-751 with an

Quick question, wonder if anyone can help.
Sent off the N400 application to Vermont along with covering doc's and
check, mailed  7/21/07. Pack arrived 7/24/07. Check cashed just over a

We sent in an I-485 package on July 27th to the Chicago Office. I imagine that a lot of other people did too. We have not received a confirmation of receipt letter as of yet, nor have they cashed the check. Has anyone in a similar time period gotten a receipt letter ? The USCIS ...

I just filed my wife's N-400 based on marriage to US Citizen,  on June
10, 2007.  Can Anyone tell me the timeline of N-400 processing in
Chicago.  My wife became a  permanent resident in July of 04.
