citizenship, and today in the mail. there is a lovely invitation to go to

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum.  If not, please direct
me to the right one.  Anyway, my husband's cousin passed away suddenly
last week.  He is/was a US citizen by naturalization.  He was divorced
with 2 minor children but in the meantime began a relationship with a

No GC after 3 years. Is there any hope??30 Sep 2007 14:06 GMT3
Are there any people here who waited 3+ years for their Greencard
(through marriage) and got it the normal way without having to sue or do
any extraordinary measures?? (not that it would work).
I am looking for some hope. It has been more than three years for me.
I-130 Questions30 Sep 2007 05:35 GMT1
I have some questions concerning applying for a marriage-based visa.
I am a U.S. citizen and my wife is a Japanese citizen.  We are not sure
if we will move back to the U.S. or not, but the embassy website said
that even if you are not sure, you should still submit and I-130.

After our marriage,I will return to the UK. How will it affect my

Europe while I am applying for US residency? Would the frequency or
length of his vacations have any effect? He's a born-and-bred in the

Hi.  I really am extremely new to the process of obtaining the green

under the F1 Visa and the extended OPT Work Authorization, which is
pretty much an add-on to the F1 allowing me to work for a period of

wait times for EAD I-765?20 Sep 2007 08:28 GMT5
Does anyone know what the recent wait times have been to get the
temporary work permit (EAD)? It says 11 weeks on the USCIS website,
but I've read they're not always accurate. Is it true that the recent
fee increase has sped up wait times?
Have had a rough idea of when.. but18 Sep 2007 03:24 GMT1
1) If the petition for a fiancee visa is dealt with in December 07,
how long will that take before it is sent to the immigration office in
New Hampshire and how long will they hang on to it before it is sent
to the American Embassy in London?

of today, I have not heard anything back - no NOAs, no RFEs, no
cashed checks.
Folks who submitted along the same time, are you all experiencing the

Feel free to laugh at us at will, however I have a quick question. We
got all of the documentation together as requested for the I-130 and
sent it off with express next day delivery, left the Post Office feeling
smug and then realised to our horror that we'd left the Cheque of the
