I posted the other day that I had not heard about my interview for citizenship, and today in the mail. there is a lovely invitation to go to Orlando on November 30, 2007 at 8am. This will be 11 days after my birthday so this will be a nice present to me from the great USA!

Are there any people here who waited 3+ years for their Greencard (through marriage) and got it the normal way without having to sue or do any extraordinary measures?? (not that it would work). I am looking for some hope. It has been more than three years for me.

I have some questions concerning applying for a marriage-based visa. I am a U.S. citizen and my wife is a Japanese citizen. We are not sure if we will move back to the U.S. or not, but the embassy website said that even if you are not sure, you should still submit and I-130.

Does anyone know what the recent wait times have been to get the temporary work permit (EAD)? It says 11 weeks on the USCIS website, but I've read they're not always accurate. Is it true that the recent fee increase has sped up wait times?
