Do you reccomend hiring a lawyer when applying for the K3 visa?
Also what is the current wait time for a K3 visa to be approved if the wife
was born in the USA and husband in Pakistan and the Processing center would
be California?

Civil fines for employers who violate U.S. federal immigration laws
increases by 25 percent, on average, effective March 27, 2008. This
means an increase of as much as $5,000 per violation, for the most
serious category. These civil fines are being adjusted for inflation

Hi group,
I was an active observer and occasional poster here between 1998 and
2002 and believe there was a post that stated that USCIS employees
were paid solely by the fees paid by future and current immigrants.

March 27 - Sent I-751 - Petition to remove conditions to USCIS
(Certified, return receipt, etc)
March 29 - Accepted at USCIS
